Italy has taken a major step forward in its energy transition efforts, giving the green light to 361 MW of new battery energy storage systems (BESS) spread across three regions—Lazio, Puglia, and Sardinia.
With excellent local solar conditions and increasing demand for green energy, GSL’s installations in Italy reflect our vision of building a cleaner, more resilient power infrastructure—one project at a time. In March 2025, GSL Energy completed installing a 10kWh wall-mounted LiFePO₄ battery system at a private residence in Tuscany, Italy.
GSL ENERGY Powerwall lithium battery (LFP - lithium iron phosphate) is a kind of new environmental-friendly backup power system product. It is made of cathode materials, battery cell and BMS (battery management system) and processed by GSL's self-developed core technologies.
